Vacations

It's interesting that people take vacations and they think that they have to go to popular destinations in order to have fun. One thing I have found interesting in my travels is that often we overlook the people in our family as a destination, simply said the people we are related to should not be taken for granted. I often just go to my relatives houses who live out of state and it can be very interesting and relaxing just to connect or reconnect with people that you might have grown with or who you just knew in passing as someone who came to visit sometimes and you had fun playing with. Often I find that the older we get the more important it is to not forget our heritage and to learn about how others live in this very large world of ours.

Choices and opinions my thoughts

I have often wondered why people cannot just take others opinions as they are? We will often not speak our opinions in public because we are afraid of offending or alienating people we care about or wish to keep in our lives, there are things I read on social media that friends post or write that I agree with but only in part, I won't post a reply or eve like it because it is either too black and white or mostly ambiguous. Why can't we just sometimes agree to disagree and move on with the fun things that we have in our lives why must we as a whole continue to be offended by the stupidest shit we see things that don't matter or only affect a small few why do we want the weight of the world on our shoulders? Why do we believe things that are obviously false or misleading statistics must be researched and looked at closely! Numbers are the easiest thing in the world to manipulate,  if you see 500 per 100000 and think wow that's a lot! that is actually .005% or 5 one thou...
